Do your days always feel busy? Is it hard to relax, unwind and get back in harmony with nature?

Come watch rescue horses – and help them learn a new skill – in our Horse Wise mini-workshop.

The horses here have been used to a hyper-busy lifestyle. They all raced at the track for a long time, retiring at much older ages. We call them “warhorses” because of that.

At our sister charity (LOPE), the warhorses learn how to slow down, relax and see a different way to be in the world.

During the session, you will observe a warhorse in training – and assist the trainer (in safe ways) in helping the horse learn something new. All work is done on the ground with horses (no riding), and no horse experience is necessary.

In turn, you will learn about how horses think, express their personalities and move their bodies – and how they reflect the beauty of nature with every step they take.
